CEESEN Bootcamp

Agenda of the bootcamp

The Bootcamp will consist of five full days of intensive interactive training under highly experienced trainers from the CEE region.

1st day – 23.April – Energy Roadmapping
The aim is to give participants a practical view of how roadmapping can work in their regions including important tools to use themselves. At the same time participants will learn to generate results that will be incorporated by the PANEL consortium into their regional roadmaps. At the end of the training participants will have the theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience needed for conducting a roadmapping process themselves.

FIELD TRIPS

During the bootcamp two field trips will be organized - to Faluház renovated buildings and Geothermal power plant.
1st Field trip – Geothermal powerplant
On the 2nd day of the bootcamp we will visit the first CHP geothermal power plant in Central Europe. It has 3 MWe and 7 MWth capacity. It was connected to the grid on November 2017. The plant has an installed capacity of 3 MW electric and 7 MW thermal. The heat will be delivered to a greenhouse that is operated in the area. The company is developing two additional combined geothermal heat and power plants with planned 18 MWe and 34 MWth capacity.

2nd Field trip – „Faluház” project
On the 4th day of Bootcamp we will visit “Faluház” project, which is newly renovated “soviet-time” apartment building. It was built between 1968-1975, is 338 m long with 886 dwellings. Initial planned lifetime was 50-60 years. The building was renovation in 2010-2012. It has 1515 m2 solar collectors with two 50 m3 storage capacity. There was installed wall and roof insulation, new doors and windows. Annual CO2 saving is ~ 64 tons. During the field trip Bootcamp participants will have chance to meet with the inhabitants.
