PANEL outputs

Here are listed the most relevant outputs created in the PANEL2050 project.

Specific trainings and tools have been created following specific methodological approach in order to support the stakeholder networks and forerunners the most efficient way.

Guidebook on Sustainable Energy Advocacy in CEE Region

A Guidebook on Advocating Sustainable Energy in Central and Eastern Europe has been developed that will help the stakeholders and municipalities to evolve towards more sustainable energy sector but also build up the political support and social capital “on the way” needed for this process. It is part of wider capacity building activities oriented for stakeholders of the energy sector and supported by a training program. Authorities looking to update their methodology for implementing energy management will also be able to make use of the guidebook.

The Guidebook covers different topics that can also be used and followed separately. However, we do recommend using the Guidebook as a whole if possible as the benefit from the support of different topics is considerable.

Synthesis of Regional Profiles from CEESEN countries

In the course of the PANEL2050 project 10 CEE regions each developed a Regional Energy Profile. This profile constitutes the
groundwork for the preparation of a Regional Energy Roadmap and related Action Plans and will be essential for the
communication with regional stakeholders.
The present synthesis report presents a summary and interpretation of the 10 Regional Energy Profiles concentrating on collected
energy data and described framework conditions. The profiles themselves can be accessed at: https://ceesen.org/.

The PANEL2050 Training Curriculum

Specific training program was also developed to train project partners in stakeholder engagement in policy advocacy processes and other connected topics. This has enabled the team to improve the scope the project activities have in the regions. This was followed by local trainings in all partner regions to provide most efficient knowledge transfer in national languages.
