Travel information
Tartu is easily accessible by plane, train and bus.
You can fly directly to Tartu from Helsinki once a day. See Tartu airport's homepage for flight times.
Or you can fly to Tallinn and take an hourly express bus that stops in the airport and in the Tartu city centre.

Bus tickets can be bought in advance online at Lux Express bus homepage (selecting departure stop as Tallinn airport) or from the special kiosk in the airport by the bus terminal.
You can also take the train from the Tallinn train station to Tartu train station. See here for train times.
